SA/Uniface Link
TRS produces an interface from System Architect to Uniface. From a System Architect Entity Relation Diagram, the Uniface Link will generate a Uniface CIF2 import file which can then be imported by Uniface using the Load command to create a conceptual model.

Version 4 of the link generates not only entities, primary keys, foreign keys and relationships, but also has a simplified and improved handling of super-sub sets and allows for conversion from (imported) SQL-types to Uniface types & packing-codes and use of physical names. (Possibly derived from an imported physical model from which the logical model is derived.) The result is a complete Uniface conceptual schema.

SA/Uniface Reverser
The Reverser converts Uniface CIF 2.0 files, created by the Unload command, into System Architect Entity Relationship diagrams. Together with the Uniface Link, this enables "round-trip" engineering of Uniface conceptual data models.

SA/Uniface Service
The Uniface Reverser is available as a service. Generate the CIF files and mail them to TRS. We will then use System Architect to produce fully attributed Entity Relation diagrams which we will mail back in a scalable format. Optionally, we can also produce a data-dictionary in Excel format.
